Declaration of accessibility

Considering the primary focus, the web presentation of the project ATHENA was created with regard to the maximum accessibility to its contents. It complies with all the important rules of the best-known methodologies in the Czech Republic – Blind Friendly Web, Rules for creating an accessible website as issued by the MI, and WCAG 1.0.
The structure of the contents as well as the layout was created using a valid XHTML 1.0 Strict, a visual presentation by means of cascading style sheets (CSS).
We used relative rather than absolute units in the mark-up language attribute values and style sheet property values. This ensures that the contents can be easily zoomed in or out by means of standard web broker tools.
